What is it?
A belting little theatre in the heart of the city centre, Alphabetti Theatre was founded by Ali Pritchard to create and produce a melting pot of new and original work across the spectrums of music, theatre, comedy and poetry from artists on the rise.
Why is it smashing?
A true hub of passion and creativity, Alphabetti has sewn itself into the hearts of the ever-increasing crowd of artists, theatre makers and audiences who love it.
Offering a full and diverse programme of work – on stage and online as circumstances dictate – in normal times, there’s also a bloody lovely cafe serving up drinks and snacks, including the ‘Best Cheese Toastie in Toon’, a well stocked bookshop, a dartboard and a resplendent resident dog in Sir Rexalot, who keeps a watchful eye over proceedings.
