What is it?
A gift shop which is dripping in the best kind of Geordie-ness, UpSide Down Presents resides on the Side – an offshoot of Dean Street – and is run by Sean and his dog, Oscar.
Why is it smashing?
Offering an absolute embarrassment of quirky gifts, greetings cards and stuff that you’ll simply want for yourself, this is a little shop which makes good use of every last bit of space. Inside you’ll find the work of a crowds of North East artists and designers as well as loads of things which celebrate Newcastle and Gateshead. You’ll also find a cracking cup of coffee to be had, too.
