Steeped in the industrial history of the world, the unique and very loved Boiler Shop sits in the Grade II listed building where Stephenson’s Rocket was built 200 years ago.
It’s now known as a place to see, enjoy and immerse yourself in a diverse and ambitious programme of events across music, food, drink, art and bingo.
Why is it smashing?
The Boiler Shop offers a bloody lovely backdrop for a whole host of events and as such, has offered a home to a huge range of memorable gatherings. From banging music gigs and club nights to food festivals, vintage markets, exhibitions and the sold out phenomenon that is Bongo’s Bingo, the programme at Boiler Shop is never one to ignore.
