What is it?
A city centre micropub which shows off the output of its mother microbrewery Box Social Brewery along the river in Newburn, Box Social resides in the arches behind the Central Station and offers the perfect place for an after work pint. Or a lunchtime, afternoon or late night one for that matter.
Why is it smashing?
As well as pumping out its own best beers – including Sticky Beak and A Certain Shade of Green – Box Social also plays host to a number of guest ales as well as stocking a lovely collection of wines and spirits too. Meanwhile the niftily named ‘Barcuterie’ serves up some treats for the tummy.
